Three school administrators from the Netherlands recently toured the Urban Skills Center to learn more about the transition services provided by our schools. Our visitors all currently work at schools in Holland that serve students with learning and emotional disabilities. As they toured the Urban Skills Center, they commented positively regarding the value of the skills being taught to our students as well as the positive atmosphere of our school. Congratulations to all participants in our first ever Jog-A-Thon at the COOK Education Center and Urban Skills Center! A total of 88 students participated in the event last month, raising over $2600 for our schools! On Tuesday, November 9th, an awards ceremony was held to honor the top fundraiser and top lap runner from each COOK Education Center and Urban Skills Center Program. On November 9th, the Urban Skills Center (USC) and COOK Education Center (COOK) hosted our 3rd Annual Alumni Panel. At this event, we invite alumni and/or their family members to come and talk to our current students and families about their post-school experiences.
