TIEE employs CA credentialed teachers
TIEE employs teachers who hold a California teaching credential to serve in its schools. To be employed as a teacher in one of TIEE’s special education schools, applicants will need to show proof of having a California Specialist’s Credential in Mild/Moderate Disabilities or in Moderate/Severe Disabilities or the equivalent.

TIEE schools are positive and team oriented
TIEE’s teachers are responsible for providing a positive, effective, and efficient learning environment for their students and for assigning, training, and supervising their assistant(s), if any, to accomplish these goals. Each teacher is assigned to a school, works as a member of a team of professionals and paraprofessionals, and is supervised by the Program Coordinator or Director of the school.

TIEE’s teachers implement evidence-based practices
We will consider you for a teaching position if you already are a skilled practitioner of evidence based teaching methods or if you are truly eager to use what works, including Direct Instruction, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Positive Behavior Support, fluency building, and other evidence based methods.  File an application at any time if you want to be the best teacher you can be and contribute to schools that are considered to be among the most positive anywhere.
