Counseling Services
Our licensed and certified counselors provide evidence-based practices rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) frameworks. We begin with comprehensive assessments and Person-Driven Plans to ensure sessions directly target our clients’ goals.
Our individualized counseling services support clients with:
- Goal Development: Designing specific, measurable, and meaningful goals based on formal assessments and Person-Driven Plans.
- Self-Management & Advocacy: Building critical organizational skills, coping strategies, and self-advocacy tools.
- Academic Success: Supporting educational paths by assisting with coursework management, scheduling, professional communication, and integration into campus life.
- Career & Volunteer Planning: Aligning employment and volunteer opportunities with the client’s core interests, strengths, and skills.
- Digital Portfolios: Organizing personal, educational, and professional materials (such as resumes) into an accessible electronic portfolio.
- Resource Navigation: Helping clients navigate community systems, including the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR), Regional Centers, and the Social Security Administration (SSA).
How We Measure Success
We believe in collaboration. We work closely with the client’s entire support team, including family members, educators, and external providers. By utilizing progress monitoring and data-based decision-making, we constantly track the effectiveness of our interventions and adjust strategies to maximize client growth.
Logistics & Eligibility
- Age Range: Open to the community, serving individuals from elementary age through adulthood.
- Session Frequency: Determined collaboratively based on client support needs and availability.
- Payment Options: Private pay options are available via hourly or package rates.
